My Vacation Plan
An exercise program is great, when you have the time for exercise. Keeping track of calories is also great, but can you do both and lose weight while on vacation? That will be the trick, because I leave for a week’s vacation today. Here’s my plan:
First, I plan to eat good food whenever possible. I may have to eat in restaurants, but I will avoid fries, soft drinks and sugar, just like I do when I’m at home.
Second, exercise is still important, so every day I’ll go for a swim in the hotel pool, and I will do lots of walking while I tour the sites.
Finally, since it’s the summer, I will drink as much water as possible. Staying hydrated is always important, so I want to focus on that while on vacation. Also, it’s better to be full of water than full of junk food. Stay tuned for the results.
